Universal Orlando debuts new Olympics-themed nighttime celebration
Universal Orlando Resort has debuted a brand-new special presentation celebrating the Summer Olympics on NBC, ahead of the Tokyo Olympics kicking off on July 23.

This special pre-show is five minutes long, and runs before Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration all summer long.

Alongside imagery that showcases some of the past and present Olympic stars is custom music that features elements from the event scores crafted by composer John Williams. While the show doesn’t have fireworks, it does include choreographed fountains, lighting, and lasers.
Alongside this new nighttime celebration are Olympics-themed food tents that have popped up by the Music Plaza Stage, featuring Japanese fare.
