Universal Orlando Resort is looking to fill more than 5,000 positions for the summer season

With a busy summer season ahead, Universal Orlando Resort is looking to fill more than 5,000 positions at its parks and hotels.
That includes full-time, part-time, and seasonal openings, as well as professional career opportunities across its two theme parks, Volcano Bay water park, and eight hotels.
Universal will host an in-person job fair on Thursday, May 5, 2022 for hourly positions including attractions, aquatics, food services, culinary, custodial, warehouse, operations, merchandise, sales, and more. Positions are also available in tech services, IT, marketing and sales, and human resources, with leadership spots offering benefits packages and some including flexible and hybrid work schedules.
Team members at Universal also get free park admission, discounts, guest passes, and more.

Universal also frequently posts job opening updates on its Universal Orlando Careers Facebook page.
At the beginning of the summer season in 2021, Universal raised its starting base pay from $13 to $15 an hour, giving over 18,000 team members a raise. And, recently, the starting rate for culinary jobs increased, now ranging from $16.50 to $20 an hour based on the position.
This job fair is the second big push in recent months to fill positions. Back in February, Universal posted about wanting to hire for 2,500 spots across the resort.
