Universal Studios Hollywood is celebrating the holidays with The Grinch and Harry Potter now through January 1st

Although freshly fallen snow can always be found on the rooftops in Hogsmeade, things get a bit more festive this time of year with all of the fitting garlands, lights, and décor themed to the Wizarding World. The sounds of holiday a cappella can be heard in the air thanks to the voices of the Frog Choir.

As you wander through Hogsmeade, you’ll surely want to grab yourself some seasonal hot Butterbeer to sip on. As night falls, delight your senses with “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle,” an impressive light projection show bringing Hogwarts castle to life multiple times nightly. The wintery imagery and iconic film score will surely put you in the seasonal spirit.

Also returning this year is Grinchmas, featuring the mean one himself. The Grinch continues to delight guests year after year. New this year is the Who-Bee Doo-Wops group, Who-ville’s latest musical sensation rocking out to hip-swinging, bell-ringing holiday classics for the Whos and guests to enjoy. This new show is performed multiple times throughout the day on the stage in front of the 65 foot-tall Grinchmas tree.

This grand tree is adorned with hundreds of ornaments and thousands of lights. Be sure and make time to take part in the tree lighting ceremony happening multiple times each evening. The whole celebration ends with “snow” falling from the sky onto the town of Whoville.

And down on the Lower Lot, you’ll find a Jurassic-ly decorated tree in Jurassic World. If it’s old Hollywood you love, look closely at the garlands hanging at the World Famous Studio Tour.
