Updated Country Bear Jamboree will debut in 2024

Country Bear Jamboree has been providing Walt Disney World guests with a “knee-slappin’ good time” in Magic Kingdom Park since 1971, but today, we learned from Imagineer Chris Beatty that the popular show featuring 18 audio-animatronic bears will debut a whole new set of songs in 2024.

While the fun-filled and family-friendly tone of the show will remain the same, Trixie, Big Al, and the rest of the band have been working on a new Country Bear Musical Jamboree, which they’ll have rehearsed and ready for guests next year

“We’re imagining a new take on the jamboree as an homage to the classic musical revues of [the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville],” Beatty said. “When the new show debuts, the bears will reinterpret their favorite Disney songs in different genres of country music – think rockabilly, blue grass, pop country, and more – and we’re working with some fantastic Nashville musicians to get the authentic sound just right.”

Did You Know?

The Country Bear Jamboree is one of the last attractions Walt Disney personally developed as a concept originally planned for his never-built Disney ski resort in Mineral King, Calif.

  1. We love the country bear jamboree it’s so cute and so much fun to go too so Disney needs to keep Walt Disneys dream alive with the original attractions and not turn it n to something that removes his imagination he created this magical place to go to and we love him so much and it started with a mouse
