VIDEO: Disney World president shares flag ceremony from empty Magic Kingdom
As the theme parks continue to be closed, Josh D’Amaro, president of Walt Disney World Resort, shared a video this morning of a flag ceremony performed inside an empty Magic Kingdom.
In his post on Instagram, D’Amaro shares that Security cast members still raise the American flag each morning in Magic Kingdom despite the park not being open, calling it “a symbol that we’re still here and will not falter.”
In such times of uncertainty, it’s moments like this that remind us that all of this — the parks being closed with seemingly no end in sight — is temporary.
