The indoor space, officially called The Visa Everywhere Lounge, provides a calm escape from the heat at Universal Orlando Resort’s original theme park.

What’s Inside the Universal Visa Lounge?

The lounge contains couches, chairs, tables, a private/family-style bathroom, free snacks, free mini bottles of water, and a water bottle filling station.

On the wall hang framed black-and-white photos of special moments from Universal’s history, like Jimmy Neutron’s Nicktoon Blast, Jaws, and Monsters Café.

Also inside the lounge, at least for now: alone time! When our editor-in-chief visited the lounge a few hours after it opened for the day, a team member told him he was only the third guest to stop by.

Who Can Enter the Universal Visa Cardholders Lounge?

The lounge is open exclusively to guests with a Universal Rewards Plus Visa Signature Card, not the standard Universal Rewards Visa Signature Card.

Signature cardholders can bring up to three guests inside the lounge with them, for a total of four people.

Where is Universal’s Visa Lounge Located?

You can find the Visa cardholders lounge at the front of Universal Studios Florida, across from guest services.

What Time Does the Visa Lounge Open?

The Visa Everywhere Lounge operates 12 – 5 p.m. daily. Cardholders and their guests can come in and out of the lounge as often as they’d like.

Are There Other Perks for Universal Visa Cardholders?

The Universal Rewards Plus Signature Card charges a $99 annual fee. In addition to the Visa lounge access (not only in Florida, but also at Universal Studios Hollywood), Signature cardholders receive 10% off select food and merchandise in Universal parks, plus a one-day free theme park ticket if they spend $6,000 with their card in one year.

Is the AP Lounge Still Open?

The new Visa lounge does not replace the lounge for annual passholders. The latter is still located in Toon Lagoon at Universal Islands of Adventure (albeit with no free snacks).

Visa also offers a Disney credit card, which grants access to exclusive character greeting spots at Disneyland Resort in California and Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

New Summer Attractions

The Visa lounge will provide an air-conditioned opportunity for guests to rest before heading back out into the park to experience all the new attractions coming to Universal Studios Florida this summer, including a drone show, a new parade, and DreamWorks Land.
