For the sixth year in a row, Disney will provide the venue for young golfers of all skill levels to be paired with PGA or LPGA professionals to learn and enjoy the game of golf in a fun, social, and inclusive setting.

Golf’s finest, including Rory McIlroy, Ricky Fowler, Michelle Wie, and Lexi Thomson, plus NBA MVP Steph Curry and Olympic Gold Medalist and soccer star Alex Morgan, will serve as PGA Junior League Ambassadors, promoting teamwork and providing encouragement.

Participants will be assigned to teams of 8-12 players, with a professional as captain of each team. Michael Schlager, PGA director of instruction, will act as Walt Disney World Golf Team’s captain.

Team members in each game will play nine holes in a two-person, scramble format, with matches scored on wins, ties, and losses in three-hole segments called “flags.”

Events will take place between April and July, with a schedule dependent upon the number of teams. Read current Safety Guidelines and the handy Know Before You Go to ensure golfers have a healthy and safe experience.

Registration for the PGA Junior League is now open, and the cost for the 2021 season is $425 plus tax, per player. Fees include team jersey, golf balls, bag tags, and 10 weeks of coaching and practice sessions with a PGA of America golf professional. Membership to The Players Club is also included for the duration of the league season.
