What are the height requirements at Walt Disney World?
What is the perfect age for your child to visit Walt Disney World? If your goal is to be able to ride as many rides as possible, then your child’s height matters more than their age. The vast majority of attractions at Walt Disney World have no height requirement at all; anyone, of any height, can ride most attractions.

However, there are a good amount of rides that do have a minimum height in order to experience them. The most important reason for these height requirements is safety. Each ride vehicle and ride system is different, and allowing guests who do not meet the minimum height requirement would pose a safety risk. So to avoid any disappointment, be sure to measure any kids in your party before you go so you know which attractions may have to wait until later.
Let’s look at each Walt Disney World theme park’s height requirements, then we’ll gather up the attractions by height group. This way, once you know your child’s exact height, you can look at the list and know right away which attractions they will be able to ride:

Walt Disney World Height Requirement Procedures
Even if you measure your child at home, you’ll still need to rely on Walt Disney World’s measuring locations at each attraction that has a height requirement. At the front of each ride with a height requirement, there is a measuring bracket. A cast member will ask your child to step over to the measuring bracket with their back flat against it and facing forward. The minimum height is clearly marked.
There is often a second measuring location once inside the queue for the attraction. Another cast member will be stationed there to double-check that your child meets the minimum height. There are sometimes indicators on the ride vehicles themselves to help cast members confirm one more time that guests are tall enough to ride the attraction.
Walt Disney World Resort is certainly a fun, magical place, but it takes safety to keep that magic going. If you have any questions or concerns about Disney’s height requirements you can stop in at Guest Relations for assistance.

Is it true that the Indy Speedway also has the tallest height requirement at 54 inches to drive the car by yourself? (You have to be able to reach the pedal to drive the vehicle)
Just wondering??
That side on before the 90 days took that Russian lady for a ride and she was like 24 inches tall. How does Disney explain that?
