‘Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey’ haunted house debuts at new U.K. Halloween festival
A “Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey” haunted house is part of Halloween Haunt Fest, starring Pooh and Piglet as serial killers.

Pooh and Piglet are no longer looking for honey — they’re looking for blood.
A brand-new scare maze based on the viral horror films “Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey” and “Blood and Honey 2” is set to debut exclusively at Halloween Haunt Fest, a new immersive horror festival launching Oct. 17 – Nov. 1, 2025, at the Hertfordshire Showground just north of London, England.
‘Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey’ haunted house, a nightmarish return to the Hundred Acre Wood
In the walk-through haunted maze experience based on “Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey,” guests follow Christopher Robin as he returns to the Hundred Acre Wood only to find that time — and abandonment — has twisted his childhood friends into something feral and vengeful. The maze plunges visitors into a decaying forest filled with long-forgotten memories turned monstrous, with face-to-face encounters with bloodthirsty versions of Pooh, Piglet, and more.

Drawing from both “Blood and Honey” films, the attraction uses live actors, detailed scenic design, and immersive effects to blur the line between nostalgia and nightmare. Organizers warn: “This isn’t the storybook ending you remember — and you’re not getting out unscathed.”
U.K.’s only official ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ maze
While the “Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey” haunted house may be Halloween Haunt Fest’s most talked-about attraction, the event will also feature the U.K.’s only officially licensed scare maze based on “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” (1974). Guests will enter a blood-soaked labyrinth inspired by Tobe Hooper’s cult classic, where Leatherface and his deranged family await.

This marks the first time Leatherface will appear in an immersive experience of this kind in the U.K.
Two original concepts join Winnie-the-Pooh
Halloween Haunted Fest also features two original horror mazes:
- “E.D.E.N.” – A dystopian, sci-fi maze where guests are recruited into a futuristic relocation program to “Earth 2 ”— only to discover that utopia may not be what it seems.
- “The Trials of Jane Wenham – The Hertfordshire Witch” – Based on the real 1712 witch trials in Walkern, England, this maze immerses guests in cursed relics, hysteria, and supernatural revenge.
A first-year festival with big ambitions
Halloween Haunt Fest is a brand-new addition to the U.K.’s scare attraction scene for 2025, created by a team of award-winning designers aiming to deliver movie-quality horror in a full-scale festival format.
Designed for thrill-seekers and horror fans alike, the festival grounds will include roaming performers, sinister street theater, a carnival-style Phantom Funfair, and a DJ-powered dance floor. Guests can enjoy themed street food and drinks from a haunted bar, warm up at fire pits, and pose for haunted snapshots at secret photo points.
Halloween Haunt Fest tickets
General admission starts at £39.50 (approximately $50 USD) and includes unlimited access to all four mazes. “Scaredy Cat” tickets, starting at £20, allow entry to the grounds plus one maze — with the option to upgrade on-site.
The event is recommended for ages 16+ and includes strobe lighting, smoke effects, mature content, and physical elements such as crawling through tight spaces.
Halloween Haunt Fest runs nightly from 4:30-10:30 p.m. (extended to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays). The Hertfordshire Showground is located roughly one hour north of London and accessible via the M1 motorway or train routes from St. Albans and Luton.
