The Guinness World Records titleholder for longest fingernails on a pair of hands (female), Ayanna Williams, handed over her nails — measuring at 733.55 centimeters (24 ft .07 inches) — to be forever immortalized at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! in Orlando.

After almost 30 years of growing “her babies,” Williams’ nails were finally clipped on March 26 during a 45-minute procedure by Dr. Allison Readinger in Fort Worth, Texas.
Final measurements were taken prior to the procedure, with the Texas native’s nails measuring 338.5 cm on her right hand and 395.05 cm on her left, confirming that Williams’ not only still held the title, but she actually broke her own record set in 2017!
Williams’ aren’t the first nails acquired by Ripley’s. In 2018, the company gained the longest fingernails ever recorded on a single hand, those of Shridhar Chillal, measuring at a combined length of 909.6 cm (10.1 in)!
Williams’ nails will be on display at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Orlando starting today, Friday, April 9.
