Zoo New York’s Valentine’s Day fundraiser invites you to name a cockroach after your ex

Valentine’s Day is coming up, but it’s not a happy and romantic occasion for everyone – and Zoo New York is here to help ease those broken hearts.

The zoo is hosting a fundraiser in which guests can name a cockroach after their ex-love for just $5. The roaches will then be fed to one of the zoo’s animals on Valentine’s Day by staff! A livestream of the feeding will be shared on the Zoo New York Facebook page.
