The dates for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights have been announced. The annual horror event will be held 24 select nights starting Sept. 24, 2010. Halloween Horror Nights is celebrating their 20th anniversary this year.
Not much more information about the anniversary event has been announced. As usual, there will be new haunted houses, street scare zones and live shows, including the fan favorite “Bill & Ted’s Excellent Halloween Adventure”. Some or all of the icons from past years events will be also be returning. Universal said “Guests will be immersed in the horrors of years’ past and introduced to brand-new frights.”
It was rumored this year’s event would take place in both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure parks. But the event will be taking place in Universal Studios again this year.
Horror Nights will take place on Sept. 24-25, Sept. 30-Oct. 1-3, 7-10, 14-17, 20-24 and 27-31. Tickets are on sale now at HalloweenHorrorNights.com/orlando, or by calling 1-888-467-7677 (HORROR-7).
A Gory Getaway Vacation Package is also being offered. It includes three-night hotel accommodations at a Universal partner hotel, one two-day base and Halloween Horror Nights combo ticket, one 5x7 souvenir photograph and access to live entertainment at Universal CityWalk. Guests visiting during the day also receive Early Park Admission to Islands of Adventure before the general public. The Gory Getaway Vacation Package starts at $299 per adult.
