Adventures by Disney River Cruises in 2024:
The biggest news in the 2024 itineraries announcement is the new “Danube River Cruise: Magical Holidays” departure – the first time the company will offer a themed river cruise voyage during New Year’s. On this unique holiday itinerary, guests will sail on the Danube River to explore famous sites and landmarks across Germany, Austria, and Hungary, plus ring in the new year with a celebration and champagne toast.
Bookings for the Danube River Cruise: Magical Holidays open on Jan. 20, 2023. Click here for details.
Adventures by Disney river cruises will also offer travelers the chance to ride an Alpine toboggan through the Black Forest and see fairy tale castles on a Rhine River cruise, view the iconic Notre-Dame Cathedral and Eiffel Tower on a Seine River cruise, and explore Schonbrunn Palace and Mirabell Gardens on a Danube River cruise.
Sight-Seeing from the River and on Land
Guests of all ages will become part of the story on an Adventures by Disney river cruise, with itineraries designed to bring real-world magic to life in ways only Disney can.
Travelers not only experience destinations from onboard the ship, but the experience is enhanced with walks or paddles through towns and villages and optional bicycle excursions through provincial towns in France, the wine country of Rudesheim, Germany, or to the Klosterneuburg Abbey in Vienna.
Passengers are also invited to participate in hands-on culinary activities, including a traditional apple strudel cooking demonstration and baking lesson in In Vienna, Austria; a create-your-own chocolate bar activity at the Chocolate Museum in Cologne, Germany; and a macaron cookie baking experience in Strasbourg, France.
