‘Maleficent’ contest, giveaways at A Petrified Forest’s Make-A-Wish Kids Day
A Petrified Forest in Altamonte Springs, Fla. and Make-A-Wish are teaming up for a Kids Day filled with fun for all ages, including special offerings inspired by Disney’s “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil.”
On Oct. 12 from 9 a.m. – noon, guests young and old can enjoy activities like a trick-or-treat trail, live performances, costume contests and more. All proceeds will go to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
There will be a special promotional tent onsite for the new Disney film, “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil,” where guests can take part in giveaways that include posters and paper horns, as well as premium prizes like passes to the Orlando advance screening. Guests can also take magical selfies in front of a Maleficent wing wall.
Guests feeling wicked enough can come dressed as a Disney Villain and take part in a contest to win Maleficent-themed prize packs that include:
- 1 Maleficent Loungefly Mini Backpack
- 4 Fandango cards to see the new film in theaters
- 1 Maleficent horns cap
- 1 “Once Upon a Dream” book by Liz Braswell
- 1 Maleficent necklace and earring set
- 1 Blu-ray copy of the first “Maleficent” film
Entry to the Make-A-Wish Kids Day at A Petrified Forest is $5 for kids and $3 for adults. Tickets are only purchasable on the day of the event and cannot be purchased online. Cash, credit cards and Apple Pay are accepted.
