Adventures by Disney to host first Disney-themed Rhine River cruise presented by D23

A new Adventures by Disney experience has been announced at D23 Expo 2019 – a voyage on the Rhine River presented by D23: The Official Disney Fan Club, both to members and non-members.

Guests will get to discover six destinations in four countries on this all-inclusive cruise. The seven-night sailing will depart on Aug. 9, 2020, and will travel to Switzerland, France, Germany, and the Netherlands.

Adventures on the cruise include zip-lining above the Black Forest, exploring medieval wine caves, asl well as meeting iconic Disney figures like Becky Cline, director of the Walt Disney Archives; Don Hahn, producer and film historian; Tony Baxter, Imagineer and Disney Legend; and Bret Iwan, the voice of Mickey Mouse. These guests will share stories and insight into the imagination of Walt Disney, the inspiration for Disney’s first European theme park, and more.

Activities onboard the ship will include fireside chats, presentations, and other Disney-themed activities. As usual while traveling on an AmaWaterways ship, guests can enjoy locally-sourced cuisine, elegant staterooms, and plenty of other amenities.
