Alcohol will be more widely served in Disneyland Park

Beginning Sept. 12, 2023, diners at Carnation Café, River Belle Terrace, and Café Orleans in Disneyland Park will be able to order wine, beer, and specialty cocktails with their meal.

Disneyland Park had been “dry” – meaning no alcohol was served – until Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened in 2019 (except the private Club 33, which has a full bar, and for special private events). With Galaxy’s Edge came Oga’s Cantina serving intergalactic cocktails and beer.

In 2021, Blue Bayou Restaurant in New Orleans Square began offering wine, beer, and a signature Hurricane cocktail made with Bacardi Reserva Ocho Rum, Myer’s Original Dark Rum, orange juice, passion fruit puree, grenadine, and lime juice, served with a Luxardo Maraschino cherry and orange garnish.

Beginning Sept. 12, 2023, the table service in-park restaurants Carnation Café on Main Street U.S.A, River Belle Terrace in Frontierland, and Café Orleans in New Orleans Square will join Blue Bayou by offering wine, beer, and signature cocktails.

Unlike in California Adventure Park, where alcohol is available at counter-service and quick-service locations, alcohol will only be served at these table-service locations inside Disneyland Park, and guests will not be allowed to carry alcoholic drinks with them.

  1. Good luck! There are many individuals who become loud, obnoxious and mean under the influence…a great show for kids!
