AMC’s ‘Puppy Bowl’ popcorn bucket arrives ahead of ‘Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie’
AMC’s new Paw Patrol popcorn bucket is shaped like a dog dish, and it’s adorable. The ‘Puppy Bowl’ is an AMC exclusive tied to “Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie,” and it goes on sale Aug. 13, one day before the film opens in theaters.

It joins a full lineup of AMC concession collectibles launching the same day, available in theaters only and while supplies last.
The bowl is the standout of the group, and it is exactly what it sounds like: a wide, shallow dish decorated with Chase and a gold star badge, sized to hold popcorn instead of kibble. Unique popcorn buckets and vessels like this usually sell out fast, which is the whole point of a theater exclusive.
Some promotional material shows the bowl available in blue, while others show red.

AMC’s movie theater Paw Patrol collection
AMC’s Paw Patrol lineup also includes a Marshall popcorn bucket molded into the dalmatian pup’s head, complete with his red fire helmet and a carry handle, plus:
- A collectible cup topped with a character figure
- Character masks, an AMC exclusive
- Plush character bag clips
- A Pawsome Blanket featuring the pups against the film’s jungle art
- Small character figurines
AMC promoted the launch on social media with a nod to the bowl’s design, calling it a popcorn bowl “worth barking about.”
The fine print notes that the cup includes a fountain drink only, that gourmet popcorn is excluded, and that AMC Stubs upgrades do not apply. AMC has not announced pricing.

Win a trip to Nickelodeon Universe
Anyone who sees the film between Aug. 8 and Aug. 23 on a qualifying AMC Stubs card purchase is entered into the Dino-Tastic Nickelodeon Sweepstakes. The winner gets a three-day, two-night getaway to Nickelodeon Universe, either at American Dream in New Jersey or Mall of America in Minnesota.
Nickelodeon Universe at Mall of America is home to Paw Patrol Adventure Bay, so the sweepstakes sends one family from the movie straight into a Paw Patrol land.
AMC values the prize at $4,850. Entry is open to residents of the 48 contiguous states excluding Rhode Island, plus Washington, D.C., and entrants must be 18 or older. No purchase is necessary, and mail-in entry is available. Official rules are on AMC’s website.
“My First Movie” Collectible Paw Patrol Print
AMC is also running an early access screening on Saturday, Aug. 8 at 2 p.m., six days before the movie opens wide. Kids who attend get a collectible print, a “My First Movie” certificate, and a button.
The dates families need
- Aug. 8: Early access screening at 2 p.m.
- Aug. 13: Concession collectibles go on sale at participating AMC locations
- Aug. 14: “Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie” opens in theaters
Everything is in-theater only. AMC has not announced online ordering for the collectibles, and availability runs while supplies last. Theater exclusives tied to family films have repeatedly sold through faster than chains projected, so families hoping for a specific piece should plan for the first weekend rather than waiting.
A note on the bowl
AMC has marketed the ‘Puppy Bowl’ as a popcorn container. The company has not said whether it is safe or intended for use as an actual pet dish, so treat it as a collectible.
More Paw Patrol beyond the theater
The rescue pups keep expanding into location-based entertainment. Beyond Paw Patrol Adventure Bay at Nickelodeon Universe, World of Paw Patrol opened this year at Chessington World of Adventures in the United Kingdom, the franchise’s first dedicated themed land. A Paw Patrol experience at Immersive Gamebox locations is also running.
In the film (rated PG), the pups crash-land on an uncharted tropical island full of dinosaurs after a storm catches their ship. They meet Rex, a pup stranded there for years, and have to stop Mayor Humdinger from waking a dormant volcano and destroying the island.
