Featuring a dazzling ¾-mile display of more than 30 larger-than-life, hand-constructed, themed lanterns lit by more than 10,000 LED lights, the festival debuted in 2019 and is the only event in Central Florida celebrating the culture, art, and beauty of traditional lantern festivals that have taken place throughout Asia for centuries.

“We’re thrilled to be able to bring this popular event back to the Zoo,” said Zoo Director Stephanie Williams. “People flock to this event, and when you see these beautiful lanterns illuminated, it’s easy to see why. We’re happy to provide a fun, festive, and cultural experience for folks in Central Florida again to end the year and start 2022.”
