Bands, Brew and BBQ is back for 2013 at SeaWorld and Busch Gardens

Bands, Brew & BBQ is back on Saturdays and Sundays at SeaWorld and Sundays at Busch Gardens throughout February and March and will feature some of the biggest names in rock and country. The concerts are free with theme park admission and events feature a wide variety of beer samplings and food samplings from local restaurants. 

On Saturdays and Sundays, Feb. 9 through March 3, SeaWorld will be hosting concerts on their waterside stage featuring some of the biggest names in music. The full 2013 concert lineup includes:

  • Saturday, Feb. 9 Chris Young with Jerrod Niemann
  • Sunday, Feb. 10 Merle Haggard
  • Saturday, Feb. 16 The Beach Boys
  • Sunday, Feb. 17 Styx
  • Saturday, Feb. 23 Big & Rich
  • Sunday, Feb. 24 Third Eye Blind
  • Saturday, March 2 Daryl Hall and John Oates
  • Sunday, March 3 Darius Rucker
  • Saturday, March 9 Michael McDonald
  • Sunday, March 10 Josh Turner
  • Saturday, March 16 Rodney Atkins with Uncle Kracker
  • Sunday, March 17 Sheryl Crow

Guests can enjoy SeaWorld’s signature BBQ, along with local favorites Tony Roma’s, Cecil’s Texas Style Bar B Q and Sonny’s Bar-B-Q who will be on hand serving BBQ foods such as chicken, ribs, beef and more.

In the Beer Garden at SeaWorld, guests can choose among 10 samples with over 25 domestic and imported craft beers. Wristbands are $21.99 per person (ages 21+) and discounts are available for SeaWorld Pass Members. They can also choose from favorites such as Florida Beer Florida Lager, Vermont Hard Cider Granny Smith, Magic Hat #9, Sweetwater 420, Green Flash Hop Head Red and many more.

On Sundays, the Gwazi Park stage at Busch Gardens Tampa will feature some of the biggest names in classic rock. Concerts start at 5 p.m., with the field opening to guests at 3 p.m. This year’s lineup includes:

  • Feb. 10 John Kay & Steppenwolf
  • Feb. 17 Barenaked Ladies
  • Feb. 24 The Doobie Brothers
  • Mar. 3 Goo Goo Dolls

The festival at Busch Gardens serves up a variety of food tents, with Outback Steakhouse, Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill and local favorite Kojak’s House of Ribs, as well as a selection of Busch Gardens’ own barbeque favorites. Options at each tent include chicken, beef, ribs, fries and more.

For those looking to sample several of the specialty brews, unlimited sampling is available from noon to 5:30 p.m. every Sunday with a Beer Festival Wristband. Wristbands are $30 per person (ages 21+), or two for $50 for Busch Gardens Pass Members. With more options than ever before, the expanded Beer Festival will feature more than 100 imported, domestic and craft beers. Select brews are available at each of the tents along the Bands, Brew and BBQ pathway, as well as in Gwazi Park.
