Be Our Guest Restaurant adding prix fixe menu with more French options

The Beast’s castle is already among most sought-after reservations in Walt Disney World, and Be Our Guest will soon attract even more attention from Francophile foodies with a new fixed-price three-course dinner menu.
Starting this summer, Be Our Guest Restaurant at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom will offer a ‘prix fixe’ dinner menu with new French-inspired dishes. The three-course dinner includes choice of appetizer and entrée, followed by a personal dessert platter. This will replace the current a la carte menu, so diners will no longer be able to order individual items at dinner; breakfast and lunch will not be affected.
The appetizer menu will retain the restaurant’s popular French Onion Soup, and add Charred Octopus with citrus-laced fingerling potatoes, pickled hearts of palm and red pepper coulis; Escargot with herb garlic butter and toasted gremolata; and a selection of assorted meats and artisanal cheeses such as chicken liver pâté, chorizo sausage Manchego, and truffle tremor.
For the main course, entrées options include Grilled Center-Cut Filet Mignon with potato au gratin, Romano beans, Cipollini marmalade and a cherry-laced red wine reduction; Smoked Black-Eye Pea Tortellini with roasted seasonal vegetables, tomato relish and basil-scented tomato water; Poulet Rouge Chicken; Saffron-Infused Seafood Bouillabaisse; Roasted Lamb Chops; and Kurobuta Pork Tenderloins.
Be Our Guest will begin serving their new prix fixe dinner menu beginning on July 27. Reservations may be booked by calling (407) WDW-DINE starting Feb. 23. Pricing is $55 for adults and $35 for children (plus tax and gratuities), or two Disney Dining Plan entitlements. Details about the new dessert and children’s menus will be released at a later date.
