Included with park admission, Legoland California’s Brick-mas festivities will take place in four seasonally themed areas: Peppermint Plaza, Santa’s Tinseltown, Wizard’s Winter Hill, and Sweet Sugar Square. Park-wide décor, with a 30-foot Lego Christmas tree as its centerpiece, sets the atmosphere for holiday cheer.

Snow is in the forecast at the park’s “Holiday Light Show.” Other live entertainment includes the Mint Marching Band and Benny’s Ugly Sweater Party, named after Benny, the spaceship-loving character from “The Lego Movie.”

Those with a sweet tooth can enjoy delicacies crafted just for Brick-mas, including rice pudding, crepes, peppermint and bubble gum ice cream, and a Yeti milkshake with donuts on top.

Special characters on hand for meet-and-greets during Brick-mas include a Lego toy soldier and a gingerbread man. A photo-op gives guests the chance to pose in Santa’s sleigh.

On Dec. 31, families seeking a kid-friendly, early-to-bed alternative to ringing in 2023 can attend Kids’ New Year’s Eve at the park. Here, the clock strikes midnight at 7 p.m. with a celebration hosted by Captain Cranky and his pirate crew, perfect for young ones with early bedtimes. The one-night-only festivities include a block party, special “firework” churros with Pop Rocks, a scavenger hunt through Miniland, and a fireworks presentation that can be enhanced with glasses that make the pyrotechnics appear to be Lego bricks.
