If you like a little scary with your Christmas, head to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay from Oct 13-16, 2022, for free family photos inside the holiday-themed Howl-O-Scream haunted house.

Busch Gardens in Tampa is offering free Howl-O-Days photos sessions inside “The Residence: Home for the Holidays” house. The house is themed like a suburban family home at Christmastime, complete with colorful lights, trees, decorations, and treats baking in the kitchen. But the silent night quickly turns into an escalating horror show.

The photo session includes a free digital photo download, but physical prints will also be available to purchase at a nearby photo spot. The Howl-O-Days photos require park admission and an advanced reservation through the theme park’s website.

The perk is part of Busch Gardens Tampa Bay’s Howl-O-Scream, which boasts five haunted houses, multiple scare zones and shows, and the new 50/50: Choose Your Fate game show. “The Residence” is a revamped version of a fan-favorite house – this time with a holiday overlay.

Busch Gardens Williamsburg also has The Residence: Home for the Holidays house at this year’s Howl-O-Scream.

The newest house this year is Stranglewood Estate, which is a spooky reimagining of a classic ghost-filled haunted house. Busch Gardens’ Howl-O-Scream also sees the return of popular houses Death Water Bayou: Blood Moon, the vampire-filled The Forgotten, and the eerie Witch of the Woods.

Howl-O-Scream runs select nights through Oct. 31. Single-night tickets start at $44.99.
