Busch Gardens Tampa Bay hosts Sesame Street Safari of Fun weekends May 14-22

Muppet fans may want to make their way to Tampa before the month is out, because Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is hosting exclusive Sesame Street Safari of Fun weekends during May 14 through 22, 2016.

Sesame Street Safari of Fun kids’ Weekends will be held on May 14, 15, 21, and 22 from 2 to 5 p.m inside Busch Gardens Tampa’s Sesame Street Safari of Fun area. The events will feature animal encounters, parades, dance parties. Character encounters will feature Elmo, Cookie Monster, Abby Cadabby, Big Bird, Bert, Ernie, and other popular characters from Sesame Street, along with surprise appearances from Telly and Baby Bear. Character parades will take place at the top of every hour of the event. Plus, guests can expect kid-friendly music along with the chance to meet with Busch Gardens’ animal ambassadors.

Each weekend will have a different theme. The first weekend will be Cookie Monster-themed, where guests can share some cookies with the connoisseur himself. The second weekend is Rubber Duckie-themed and will include a scavenger hunt for Ernie’s Rubber Duckies throughout the Safari of Fun play area.
