Busch Gardens Tampa’s Food & Wine Festival is back for 2021
The fan-favorite Food & Wine Festival at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is returning on Feb. 20, 2021, with 24 culinary cabins serving more than 110 bites and sips, including 22 brand new dishes.
Every weekend from Feb. 20 to April 25, 2021, guests at Tampa Bay’s largest food festival will be able to sample returning festival favorites as well as fresh twists on classic cuisine, all perfectly paired with more than 80 wines, brews, and cocktails. In addition to the park’s already strict health and safety measures, capacity will be significantly limited at the festival to allow guests to maintain safe physical distancing.
With 110 tasty reasons to attend Busch Gardens Food & Wine Festival, guests will want to come more than once to try everything, including the reimagined Shrimp ‘n’ Grits with Andouille sausage and crispy fried chicken biscuit slider with bourbon blackberry jam at the Southern Kitchen culinary cabin.
Other savory bites include the new five-spice duck lettuce wraps with Asian pear coleslaw and plum sauce drizzle and the reimagined Impossible slider topped with caramelized balsamic onions and crispy jalapeños at the Seasonally Inspired cabin; and the lobster white cheddar Kraft Mac N Cheese at All American Eats by Kraft-Heinz.
Satisfying a sugary craving will be easier than ever with sweet treats like the new Woodford Reserve bourbon bread pudding; maple bacon cinnamon rolls; and the new Margarita Madness, Bailey’s Bliss, Boujee Bacon & Bourbon, and Señorita Sangria cupcakes.
A selection of more than 50 wines, beers, and seltzers will also be on hand, providing a tasting tour of vineyards and breweries from around the state, country, and globe without leaving Florida. Pours include wines from Benziger Family Vineyards and Proud Pour Vineyards; beers from Tampa Bay Brewing Company, Yuengling, Florida Avenue Brewing Co., and Coppertail Brewing Co.; and seltzers from Funky Buddah and Maine & Vine.
In addition, more than 20 refreshing cocktails will complement this year’s festival menu with new hand-crafted mixologist recipes from Coaster Cocktails like the Iron Gwazi Gimlet with Hendrick’s Gin, the Kumba Cool Aid with Flor De Caña Rum, the Falcon’s Fury Lemon Drop with Milagro Tequila, and the Tigris Tea with Tito’s Handmade Vodka.
Guests can enjoy local acts with physically-distant seating throughout the festival at the open-air Coke Canopy stage starting Feb. 20. Physically-distant live concerts from nationally recognized bands and local favorites (included with theme park admission) will take place at the expansive Festival Field on select dates in March and April. Concert acts will be announced soon, including upgrade opportunities for premium seating.
