Canada’s Wonderland is now open for the 2024 operating season in Vaughan, Ontario. The amusement park and its adjacent water park will introduce several new additions this year.

Moosehorn Falls

First announced last August, Moosehorn Falls starts out as usual raft slide, then plunges along the side of a 42-foot-tall boomerang wall.

The slide derives its name from Moosehorn Trail in Fundy National Park, New Brunswick.

The rafts of Moosehorn Falls can hold up to six guests and a maximum weight of 1,000 pounds. Guests must be at least 42 inches tall to ride Moosehorn Falls.

Moosehorn Falls will open sometime in June 2024, but Canada’s Wonderland has not announced a specific opening date. That being said, Splash Works will only operate on Saturdays and Sundays from May 25 – June 16 before operating daily starting June 22, narrowing the opening-day possibilities a bit.

Food and Wine Festival

Canada’s Wonderland will spotlight its inaugural Food and Wine Festival with red and white wine selections, Charcuterie, sweets, and more. Wine tastings will be available, too. Menus have not yet been revealed.

The Food and Wine Festival will operate June 7-9, 14-16, and 21-23, 2024.

The new event joins returning seasonal festivities at Canada’s Wonderland throughout 2024, such as fireworks on select holidays, Celebration Canada in honor of Canada Day, a fundraiser day for the SickKids organization, KidZfest featuring Peppa Pig in person, Oktoberfest, and the Peanuts-themed Camp Spooky.

New Summer Entertainment

This summer, Canada’s Wonderland will debut a new stunt show in Arthur’s Baye and the new “Team Charlie Brown” show in Playhouse Theatre. These join returning summer productions, including “Cirque Ambiente,” performances by the Victoria Falls High Divers, and a Peanuts block party.
