Carnival Celebration arrives in 2022 for Carnival Cruise Line
Carnival Celebration will be the sister ship to Carnival Cruise Line’s Mardi Gras when it debuts in 2022. This second Excel class ship will sail from Port Miami in time for Carnival Cruise Line’s 50th Anniversary.

The ship’s name was recently revealed by Carnival’s celebrity partners including Shaquille O’Neal, Guy Fieri, Emeril Lagasse, Vanna White, and more, which you can check out in the video below:
Carnival Celebration will share many features to its sister ship Carnival Mardi Gras including Bolt, the first roller coaster at sea. “Bolt: Ultimate Sea Coaster” will feature 800 feet of track with twists, turns, and drops, reaching speeds up to 40 miles per hour. The all-electric coaster will allow two riders at a time on a motorcycle-like vehicle set on a track 187 feet above sea level. Carnival Mardi Gras is currently under construction in Turku, Finland, and will have a capacity of over 5,200 guests when completed.

Itineraries for Carnival Celebration will be announced in the coming weeks, and the ship will be available for booking October 2020. Prospective guests can sign up for special sale promotions now.

Carnival Cruise Line’s 50th Anniversary celebration kicks off in March 2022 with a series of special sailings. The commemorative cruises will host special entertainment and itineraries throughout the year culminating with the arrival of this newest Excel class ship Carnival Celebration in Miami November 2022.
