Bolt will be added as the centerpiece of the Ultimate Playground, an open-air recreation area on Mardi Gras, which will debut in August 2020. Carnival Cruise Line President Christine Duffy was joined by the cruise line’s Chief Fun Officer Shaquille O’Neal to reveal Bolt’s all-electric, motorcycle-inspired vehicle with red and blue stripes and a yellow lightning bolt.

The coaster car will also feature a digital speedometer display and speakers with new sound effects to enhance the experience. Cameras will be located all along the 800-foot-long track and in the vehicle itself to provide riders with commemorative photos of their experience.
