Fantasyland Update: Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak open, second Dumbo spinner revealed, new Pooh meet

Yesterday the Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak water play area soft opened in the Storybook Circus area of New Fantasyland. The second spinner of the dueling Dumbos has been revealed as well but hasn’t soft opened yet.

The sign for the Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak Station is made to look like a railroad crossing sign.

The water play area is themed to Casey Jr. from Dumbo.

It features many train cars themed to clowns, animals and more.

Dumbo’s mom, Jumbo is featured in one of the cars.

This car is themed to clowns and features monkeys squirting water out of flowers.

Above is a photo of the water play area in action.

Each of the cars feature one of the years that each of the Disney parks open.

There is also a cart that sells towels, suntan lotion and other items needed for the water play area.

The walls are down around the second spinner of the dueling Dumbos.

The sign for Dumbo: The Flying Elephant is now installed and looks great.

Here is a look at the second spinner, which is not yet open.

The interactive queue is now testing but only at select times before its official opening with the second spinner next month.

The back of the sign reads “Believe and Soar”.

Guests will soon be able to pick up their pager here where they will then wait in the interactive big top for it to buzz.

A new permanent meet and greet area is now open by the entrance to The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. The meet and greet takes place in the area of the short lived Tigger’s Bounce Spot.

Here is Orlando Attractions Magazine – The Show host Banks Lee with Winnie the Pooh and Tigger.

  1. Banks Lee must be confused with what park he is at with a T-shirt like that. Why would a Florida fan ever want to support that other coast that gets all the love? 😉
