Cast member preview announced for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway

Walt Disney World has announced a cast member preview for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, opening March 4 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Eligible full-time, part-time and seasonal Walt Disney World, Florida site, Disney’s Hilton Head Island and Disney’s Vero Beach Resort cast members are invited to experience this brand-new attraction during special previews on select dates from Feb. 22- March 2.

This event is for cast members only, so no guests will be allowed to attend. Cast members can sign up for their chance to ride on the Hub starting Feb. 17. If you want to attend the preview with your cast member friends, you should all plan to sign up for the same 30-minute preview window.

To experience this cast preview, cast members will need to show their company ID, Self-Admission or Main Entrance Pass and a digital copy of their “Know Before You Go” or confirmation email for park admission. Since cast members are currently blocked out of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, they will need to enter through the “Cast Event” touchpoints for the preview.

Photos and videos will only be allowed in designated areas, and cell phones and cameras will be bagged before entering Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway.

In addition, Disney announced that more cast-exclusive opportunities to experience another new attraction, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, will be coming later this year.

  1. So even though Galaxy’s Edge is fully (most times) operating both attractions, they are planning a cast members (exclusive) only time period? It sounds like the Soft Opening for “Resistance” was put in reverse, for some reason or another. What it looked like, to me upon reading this. But Happy Best Crazy Wishes to the M&MsR’s Cast Members, for your Inaugural Run of the RR!
