Cast members share first reactions to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Disneyland cast members and their guests have begun previewing Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and while they weren’t allowed to take their phones or cameras into the land, they’re sharing all sorts of first impressions online.

All who entered the land during the preview were required to put their phones in shipping-style plastic bags before entering the land. They were allowed to keep the bags on them, but could not take their phones out for photos or videos.

However, guests were allowed to purchase merchandise, ride Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run, build their own lightsabers and stop for a drink in Oga’s Cantina.

I have seen the edge of the galaxy and it is amazing! The detail is stunning! Rex makes a great DJ and the Falcon looks so great! Pro tip for all the future gunners out there, you can just hold down on the button to shoot instead of pressing it repeatedly until your arm cramps. pic.twitter.com/DZrcPSwoh8

Y’all already know I got the best Sis in the galaxy, so no sense in going over that again. Thank you for letting me experience this once in a life time opportunity with you, and I’ll never forget being the first ones to co-pilot the Falcon out of the Black Spire Outpost for a smuggle run on Corellia. Look out for park provided pics when the media embargo lifts later this month. 🤙🏽 . . #starwars #galaxysedge #castmemberpreview #disney #disneyland #ibuiltalightsaber #itwasepic #imayhavecried #drankbluemilk #stillshook #milleniumfalcon #supersibs #wishyouwereamoreno

It even proved to be a positive experience for cast members and their guests who weren’t Star Wars fans:

went to Star Wars land cast preview this morning and I don’t watch the movies but i have to say it looks really cool 🤩
