During the day, Discovery Island will come to life with a gathering of winter animals in the form of life-size, artisan-sculpted puppets. Reindeer, foxes, penguins, polar bears, and more will interact with guests. Musicians will also be in the area to create a festive atmosphere.

When night falls, the rooftop luminaries and bird lanterns will bring a warm glow to the village. The Tree of Life will awake with a new winter-themed projection show and accompanying score. Between awakenings, the tree will sparkle throughout the night.

In Dinoland, U.S.A., all of your favorite Disney characters have gathered for Donald’s Dino-Bash!, spreading holiday spirit with decorations in the style of Donald Duck and each of his friends. At night, guests can gather around the Truck-O-Saurus for the Holiday Hoopla Dance Party with Chip ’n Dale, along with other interactive games.

In Asia, the residents of Anandapur are celebrating Diwali, the holiday festival of lights in India. Glowing flowers, lanterns and more will light up the square between the Anandapur Theater and the waterfront stage.

Harambe in Africa will welcome guests with a unique holiday performance, bringing together the style of western traditions with the colors and textiles of African celebrations. The various groups that appear in Harambe will get holiday-inspired enhancements, including costume additions and new music, to their performances. The fun keeps going at Tusker House for character dining, where Mickey and friends will spread holiday cheer throughout the meal.

The wintery season will even spread to Pandora – The World of Avatar, where those living on the moon of Pandora create a little bit of Christmas for their alien home. A kitschy holiday display will be found at Pongu Pongu, combining vintage pieces form Earth with handcrafted materials from Pandora.
