Guests of Sawmill Creek by Cedar Point Resorts can celebrate the holidays with The Season of Joy, a new assortment of entertainment and merriment happening Nov. 18-Dec. 31, 2022.

Sawmill Creek, which revealed its major renovation last June, has 239 guest rooms surrounded by 200 acres of woods just eight miles from Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. As Cedar Point closes for its annual off-season beginning Oct. 31, The Season of Joy will be an experience for fans of the park looking to get their themed entertainment fix during the holidays.
A number of special offerings exclusive to The Season of Joy await guests during their Christmastime visit. The Merry Little Christmas Walk provides the opportunity to soak in the resort’s elaborate décor, from lights to ornaments.
Seasonal bars opening for the occasion will host holiday cheer no matter what guests are in the mood for, whether hand-crafted alcoholic beverages at Merry Mulligan’s Pop-Up Bar or customized cocoa at Santa’s S’mores and More. Guests can even try their hand at creating a drink of their own during Naughty & Nice Mixology. Other instructional workshops offered during the event teach guests how to make wreaths, build gingerbread houses, and even untangle lights.
Visitors looking for entertainment can enjoy some of the many special productions throughout Sawmill Creek just for the event, from the humorous stylings of “A Sawmill Carol” and the fun of “Santa’s Helpers” holiday trivia to the dueling pianos of “Sawmill Ivory Showdown” and the interactive cheer of the “Season Sing-Along Show,” among others.
Concluding The Season of Joy on Dec. 31 will be Toast of the North Coast, a New Year’s Eve celebration featuring live music and food.
