Celebrate Dole Whip Day with these delicious Disney treats
Today marks the first-ever Dole Whip Day, and to celebrate the iconic sweet treat, we’ve got a list of all the places you can find it at the Disney Parks!
Dole Whip is served at various locations at Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort, aboard the Disney Cruise Line, and at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa. It’s fat-free, dairy-free, and gluten-free with no cholesterol — so you can have this snack guilt-free!
Dole Packaged Foods and Disney began their relationship in 1976 with the sponsorship of Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room at Disneyland park. Dole Whip (originally called Dole Pineapple Whip but later shortened to Dole Whip) was created in 1984 and debuted at Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom park that same year.
Since then, Disney guests have been able to enjoy this frozen treat throughout the parks and resorts and on the cruise line. The original pineapple flavor is still the most popular, but there are also flavors like lime, mango, orange, raspberry, strawberry, and other seasonal flavors at various locations, served in a cup, cone, as a drink, and other unique vessels.
To celebrate Dole Whip Day and the reopening of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort today, Pineapple Lanai is offering an exclusive “Tamatoa-inspired” Dipped Cone from July 19-21. This Moana-style take on the snack features Dole Whip raspberry swirled with Dole Whip orange in a white chocolate-dipped waffle cone coated with “shiny” gold sugar.
