If you are spending Nov. 23 at Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom, you can enjoy your traditional holiday meal with an intergalactic twist thanks to a special Satu’li Canteen Thanksgiving menu featuring roast turkey bowls.
This holiday inside Pandora: The World of Avatar, you’ll find that the Na’vi have created their own version of a traditional Thanksgiving meal. On Nov. 23, Satu’li Canteen will be serving wood-grilled roasted turkey breast with gravy, apple and sage stuffing, green beans, orange marmalade glazed sweet potatoes with candied pecans, mashed potatoes and cranberry boba pearls. The turkey bowls will be available in both adult and kids’ portions. For dessert, the Canteen will be serving a pumpkin cheesecake mousse.
Other restaurants across Walt Disney World will also be serving special Thanksgiving Day menus, including Pecos Bill’s Tall Tale Inn and Cafe at the Magic Kingdom, and both Morimoto Asia and Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ at Disney Springs at Walt Disney World.
Of course, don’t have to wait until Turkey Day to get your gobbler fix: there are always the iconic giant turkey legs available year-round for snack vendors around the resort, as well as the beloved Holiday Turkey sandwich from Earl of Sandwich, the sliced turkey breast at Epcot’s Garden Grill restaurant, the turkey and bacon sandwich at Sci-Fi Dine-In in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and the Smoked Turkey cocktail served at most WDW bars.
