Chef Mickey’s will introduce new menu items with characters’ return this December

Mickey Mouse and his pals are bringing the fun of character dining back to the morning at Chef Mickey’s restaurant in Disney’s Contemporary Resort on Dec. 16, 2020, and they’re bringing delicious new menu items along with it.

As well as traditional breakfast favorites (like Mickey waffles, of course), diners at Chef Mickey’s will also get to try new signature items inspired by Mickey’s sweet and savory faves like Mickey’s “Celebration” Pancakes with whipped cream, celebration sprinkles, and shimmering pixie dust, and “Loaded” Potato-Cheese Casserole topped with smoked bacon crumbles and chives.

Never one to be left out of the fun, Mickey’s goofy pal is introducing his very own new dish: Goofy’s Banana Bread French Toast, which is made with banana bread that’s baked in orange-scented French toast batter and topped with Espresso-mascarpone cream, toasted bananas, and chocolate crumbles.

When Mickey and Friends return to Chef Mickey’s, the character dining experience may be a little different than you remember, but guests can still share smiles and waves with some of their favorite Disney pals as they parade through the restaurant in their chef’s attire. Plus, each table will receive a special autographed card from Mickey and his friends.

If you’re worried you won’t be able to decide which new dish to pick, you’re in luck because guests will be able to taste all three along with the traditional breakfast favorites as part of an all-you-care-to-eat family-style meal ($42 per adult and $27 per child, plus tax and gratuity).

Reservations for Chef Mickey’s character breakfast will open on Oct. 17, 2020, based on availability. Disney Resort hotel guests can make reservations up to 60 days in advance plus the length of their stay (up to 10 days). Click here for more information about dining reservations.
