Carnival Cruise Line unveils plans for Choose Fun aqua water park aboard Carnival Panorama

New details have been revealed for the “Choose Fun” aqua park aboard the new Carnival cruise ship, Carnival Panorama, set to make its debut this December from Long Beach, Calif.

Named for Carnival’s brand slogan, the Choose Fun park will be located on the Carnival Panorama’s top deck, and will include a 300-gallon PowerDrencher tipping bucket as part of a kiddie spray park, as well as other Carnival favorites like the SkyRide aerial attraction and a suspended ropes course. The cruise ship will also feature two water slides – the 455-foot-long Red Fun slide and the 300-foot-long Blue Fun slide.

Currently under construction in Italy, the Carnival Panorama is expected to set sail on its inaugural three-day voyage from Long Beach, then begin year-round seven-day Mexican Riviera service starting Dec. 14. The week-long voyages will feature day-long stops at many seaside resorts, including Mazatlan, Cabo San Lucas, and Puerto Vallarta.
