Cinemark is giving away 1,000 private Halloween movie watch parties
It’s not a trick. Cinemark Theatres are putting big screams on the big screen this Halloween by giving away 1,000 private watch parties. Winners will have an entire auditorium for up to 20 guests to watch a film of their choice on Oct. 31, 2020.
UPDATE – 10/12/20: Cinemark has announced that it will give away an additional 1,000 Halloween Private Watch Parties after the initial wave were claimed within 13 minutes of release. Moviegoers will have a second chance to claim their free watch party on Friday, Oct. 16 at 10:31 a.m. Central Time at Cinemark.com or on the Cinemark mobile app.
To celebrate the spookiest time of year, Cinemark is bringing back some all-time favorite Halloween movies, including “Beetlejuice,” “Hocus Pocus,” “Coco,” “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” “Halloween” (2018), “A Nightmare on Elm Street” (1984), “The Addams Family” (2019), and “The Exorcist: The Version You’ve Never Seen Before” (2000). Moviegoers are encouraged to come dressed for the celebration in their Halloween costumes.
“In this ever-changing environment, Cinemark is happy to offer an alternative way to celebrate Halloween by bringing back some of the best movies for family fun or fright and giving away 1,000 Private Watch Parties,” said Wanda Gierhart-Fearing, Cinemark CMO. “Private Watch Parties have quickly become a moviegoer favorite – offering customers an exclusively immersive cinematic experience with a group they trust.”
Private watch party guests can also enjoy special pricing on their favorite movie treats, including $5 large popcorn, $3.50 large fountain drink or ICEE, and $2.50 candy. Plus, from Oct. 29 through Nov. 1, 2020, all candy will be buy-one-get-one-free at the $2.50 price. Cinemark Movie Club members save even more with their standard 20% discount on concessions.
Beginning at 10:31 a.m. CT on Friday, Oct. 9, 2020, movie lovers who want to enter the Halloween Private Watch Party giveaway can go to their local theatre page on the Cinemark website or app and select any Private Watch Party showtime for Oct. 31, 2020. The first 1,000 individuals to check out with a Halloween Private Watch Party will do so for free (standard pricing for a Private Watch Party begins at $99 with no minimum concession purchase).
Fright Nights
Halloween super fans won’t want to miss the following Cinemark Fight Nights in October that feature special pricing on tickets and treats:
