You’ll be a star when you host a private movie watch party at Cinemark
Have you ever wanted to have an entire movie theater all to yourself? You’re in luck because, for a limited time, you can host your own private movie watch party for up to 20 guests at a participating Cinemark theatre near you.
Movie fans can reserve their private watch party at their local Cinemark theatre for up to 20 friends and family and enjoy their choice of one movie from all-time classics to brand-new releases in the privacy and comfort of their own auditorium. It’s not only a great way to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, date night, girls’ or guys’ night out, or even just reconnect with friends and family, it’s also the perfect way to enjoy a movie with plenty of space for physical distancing.
“There’s nothing quite as powerful as great cinematic storytelling on the big screen,” said Cinemark CEO Mark Zoradi. “At Cinemark, we have a passion for movies, but more importantly, we have a passion for people. We are evolving how we operate to make sure that you feel confident and comfortable when you visit one of our theatres.”
Movie selections vary by theatre location but may include classic blockbusters like “Jurassic Park” and “Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back,” family favorites like “Jumanji: The Next Level” and “Sonic the Hedgehog,” and new releases like “Unhinged,” a thriller starring Russell Crowe and “Words on Bathroom Walls,” a drama starring Charlie Plummer and Taylor Russell.
A private watch party is $99 – $175 plus applicable taxes and online fees for up to 20 people (prices vary by location and classic vs. new release movie selection). Plus, watch party guests can also take advantage of the “Welcome Back” concession prices on all those movie snacks you’ve been craving, so it’s only $5 for a large popcorn, $3.50 for a large fountain drink or ICEE, and $2.50 for your favorite movie candy. What could be better than that?
