Wild Adventures’ Pumpkin Spice Festival takes the fall flavor up a notch

Wild Adventures in Valdosta, Ga.—a theme park, waterpark, and animal park in one—is upping their pumpkin spice game with the Pumpkin Spice Festival, an entire food festival dedicated to the popular fall flavor. The new seasonal event will take place on weekends from Sept. 26 – Nov. 1, 2020, and will feature over a dozen pumpkin-spiced food items.

With so many choices, from sweet treats like pumpkin spice funnel cake, pumpkin spice rice treats, pumpkin spice cotton candy, and the mighty pumpkin colossal shake to savory snacks like pumpkin maple pulled pork sandwiches, fans of the traditional fall flavor may have trouble picking a favorite. But don’t worry, non-pumpkin spice likers, traditional fall specialties like chili bread bowls and Buffalo chicken mac & cheese waffle cones are sure to hit the spot.

“Around this time each year, people start looking forward to all the new pumpkin spice items that show up in stores and restaurants,” said Molly Deese, vice president, and general manager. “So, we decided to give everyone something even bigger to look forward to – an entire food festival dedicated to pumpkin spice.”

In addition to the new fall food offerings, the Pumpkin Spice Festival will give kids the chance to paint miniature pumpkins in the butterfly garden and find their way through the indoor Mr. Bones’ Glow Experience. Plus, kids 12 and under can dress up in their Halloween best and load up on candy at socially distanced trick-or-treat stations throughout the park. On Sunday, Nov. 1, kids can enter the Monster-Sized Kid’s Costume Contest to win season passes.

“We are excited to provide a fun and socially-distanced way for families to enjoy traditional fall activities with The Pumpkin Spice Festival,” Deese said.

Wild Adventures’ season passholders will have even more reasons to celebrate this fall because the first weekend of The Pumpkin Spice Festival—Sept. 26 and 27—is also Passholder Appreciation Weekend when season passholders can bring a friend with them for free.
