Circa Resort & Casino in Las Vegas gets pink makeover to celebrate the Barbie movie

The Barbie movie, starring Margot Robbie as Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken, releases in theaters on July 21, 2023, and the adult-only Circa Resort & Casino is celebrating in style.

“Barbie fever is sweeping the nation, and we knew we had to do something fun to honor one of the biggest icons of the last 60+ years,” said Circa Resort & Casino CEO Derek Stevens. “We are thrilled Warner Bros. Pictures has welcomed Circa to be a part of Barbie’s story as she hits the big screen this summer.” 

Barbie Themed Activities Throughout the Resort

Before guests even enter the resort, they will see Circa’s 438-foot hotel tower illuminated in pink each night. At 60 stories hig, the tower is the tallest building north of the Las Vegas strip, making it a hard to miss nod to Barbie’s favorite color. 

No Barbie Dream Hotel is complete without a pool, and Circa is giving their year-round pool amphitheater the complete Barbie Makeover. The pool referred to as, Stadium Swim, will be a nod to Barbie Land, which is the home of Barbie and friends in the movie. 

Stadium Swim has six pools, which will be glowing pink and filled with B-shaped pool inflatables. The cabanas and daybeds will also get a Barbie makeover with pink decor and pink towels. All the while, their 143 foot screen will play the Barbie trailer.

To complete the experience, photo opportunities at the pool allow guests to pose inside a life-sized Barbie box. Guests can even grab complimentary sunglasses, and props to pose like Barbie herself. The pool located on the fifth floor of Circa is open daily from 8 a.m. – 11 p.m.

On July 21, 2023, Pink Whitney will host special activation at Stadium Swim featuring models inspired by the Barbie movie’s featured iconic looks and specialty themed drinks, along with the already-mentioned activities and theming.

No 21+ Las Vegas event is complete without drink specials

Stadium Swim will have a special Barbie themed bottle service presentation, complete with a pink Zamboni. All of Circa’s on-property bars will also offer pink specialty cocktails, including Barbie’s Dream Shot featuring Pink Whitney, Skyy Watermelon, citrus and cranberry. Guests who shows their Barbie movie theater ticket will receive a free Barbie’s Dream Shot until July 23, 2023. 

Additional Barbie-themed Cocktails include:

• Pink Paradise made with Stoli Raspberry, Ramazzotti Rosato, watermelon and lime at Vegas Vickie’s Cocktail Lounge
• Malibu Sunshine made with Absolut Elyx, coconut, prickly pear, lemon and egg white at the Legacy Club
• Dream Daiquiri passion berry frozen drink at the pool and Circa Bar on the world-famous Fremont Street Experience

Admission is free to guests of Circa, as well as their sister properties the D Las Vegas and Golden Gate Hotel & Casino. For non guests, general admission starts at $20. Circa is only open to guests ages 21+ with valid ID.
