Cirque du Soleil to stream ‘Zed’ performance, created for Tokyo Disney Resort

The latest weekly stream for CirqueConnect, the digital content hub for Cirque du Soleil, features a performance created exclusively for Tokyo Disney Resort.

The show, titled “Zed,” originally premiered in 2008 at Tokyo Disney Resort’s Cirque du Soleil theater, and performed until Dec. 31, 2011.

This 60-minute stream will feature a live performance of the now-defunct show, making it a once-in-a-lifetime viewing opportunity for Cirque fans.

The stream begins tonight, April 17, at 8 p.m. Eastern at the link above.

  1. It – was – glorious! I had actually seen the original production of ZED, way back in 2011, from a tour I was with. This was after the earth quake Japan had had, and before the sad closing of the show the same year. Seeing the theatre again immediately transported me back to that show in 2011. Thanks for posting this. I am a happy Cirquette!
