Our review of the new menu at City Works

Black & Bleu Burger.

The new City Works menu items became permanent additions to the everyday lineup at the Disney World location on Feb. 4, 2026. On that day, we were invited to dine to try some of the new menu options. We recognized some of the latest menu items from the Chef Selects rotating menu, which offers a few limited-time offerings for eight weeks at a time. Clearly, City Works Eatery & Pour House used those “test” runs to guide the new City Works Disney menu offerings.

While we did not try everything (how could we?), we sampled many of the new offerings.

We started with several of the shareable items. Our order included the Maple Bacon Tots, Crispy Smoked Wings, and the Tuna Sliders. Additionally, during a previous visit, we ordered the Crab Rangoon Mozzarella Sticks. However, those are included in the entrée we ordered, so we will discuss them later.

Maple Bacon Tots

City Works Disney World

We expected these to be excellent. For most of our group, those expectations were met. These bar bites offer a unique blend of sweet and savory flavors that can be addictive. The portion size is shareable and includes plenty of toppings. The dipping sauce makes this appetizer even more appealing. These provide a chicken-and-waffles effect without those components, of course.

Of note, when guests join the free Bottleneck rewards program, they get a free “bar bites” option, which includes these. Also, City Works Eatery & Pour House has “Happy Hour” Monday through Friday from 3-6 p.m. The Maple Bacon Tots are only $8 during that time window.

Crispy Smoked Wings

We received several chicken wings. Our group requested buffalo sauce as the flavor. Since City Works Disney Springs is a bar and grill-style table service restaurant, you know the wings are good. In fact, one member of our group thought the wings were better than the Maple Bacon Tots.

Guests should expect a lightly battered wing. So, if you read “crispy” and think heavy batter, that would not be the case. Still, those looking for a really crisp wing may not find it with these. All the same, they are solid bar & grill wings.

Tuna Sliders

City Works Disney World

This unique twist on standard bar food offered plenty of flavor. These provide a spicy kick on the high end, for theme-park-level spice. The tuna and other components came well prepared. Our group enjoyed the melding of flavor and a spicy kick in these sliders. Even the brioche buns impressed us with their quality.

Guests get three sliders, so for a group of three, this appetizer works great. However, if you group has more than three, prepare for some fighting over these tuna sliders.

Steak Bowl

Our group ordered three entrees: Steak Bowl, Seafood Platter, and the Black and Bleu Burger.

City Works Disney World

In late April 2025, City Works Eatery & Pour House updated its menu, adding several bowl-style entrees. Those have been popular. So, for this menu update, a Steak Bowl was added.

This consists of several components, giving it an Asian flair. The New York strip receives a soy glaze. A spicy mayo, along with kimchi and cucumbers, rounds out the Asian flair.

Like many bowl entrées, this works well for those who want to dine out but don’t want to eat too much fried food. This lighter entrée stood in sharp contrast to some of the other food options we had this day. Guests can mix and match all components however they like. Overall, we enjoyed this bowl. It would make a great lunch item or a lighter dinner entrée.

Black and Bleu Burger

City Works Disney World

City Works consistently offers solid burgers. This one continues that trend. Also, the new Tex-Mex Burger, which we enjoyed during a preview, likewise shows off the quality of burgers at City Works at Disney World.

However, the Black and Bleu Burger should not be ordered by anyone who dislikes bleu cheese. We have no idea why anyone who dislikes bleu cheese would order this. Still, it has a LOT of bleu cheese. This component gets close to overwhelming the burger and onion jam. While we enjoyed this burger (and will probably order it again), you NEED to like bleu cheese. Fortunately, it is good bleu cheese, and we like this type.

Seafood Platter

Seafood Platter City Works Disney World

This entree looks more like a very shareable appetizer. It contains some Crab Rangoon Mozzarella Sticks, Spicy Shrimp, fries, and Beer-Battered Cod with coleslaw. The entrée includes dipping sauces. Make sure you use the firecracker sauce with the Crab Rangoon Mozzarella Sticks and the tartar sauce with the cod.

The Spicy Shrimp and Crab Rangoon Mozzarella Sticks can be ordered as appetizers. In fact, the cod can be ordered as the Fish & Chips entrée. However, this platter allows guests to have all three. While the price point is slightly over $40, the platter is quite filling.

The Spicy Shrimp were our group’s favorite part of this dish. We found the battered shrimp with a decent level of spicy kick served as an excellent bar & grill item. The Crab Rangoon Mozzarella Sticks offer a unique panko crust with the crab, shrimp, cream cheese, and mozzarella filling. The firecracker sauce elevates the flavors.

The cod arrived at our table very well prepared. It was lightly battered and offered a good portion size. Guests should be aware that the fish will not provide as robust a flavor as the other two main parts of this platter. That does mean it lacks flavor. The cod offers a less “spicy” flavor to balance the different parts of this platter.

Of course, we had dessert!

Campfire Fried Ice Cream

The new City Works Disney World dessert is the Campfire Fried Ice Cream. We tried this back in late 2025 when it was part of the Chef Selects menu, a limited-time menu that rotates about every eight weeks.

For dessert, the Campfire Fried Ice Cream brings a fun, nostalgic flair to the table. This item offers strong positives and potential concerns for some guests. For the best experience, diners should enjoy almonds. Based on the smoky nature of the almonds (to achieve the campfire theme), this dessert offers a distinct flavor and texture that some guests may not expect. The smoked almond element might divide some guests, and a touch more chocolate would better balance the sweetness. Still, it’s an excellent portion for sharing and a well-themed, photo-worthy finish to the meal.
