Concerts announced for Universal Mardi Gras at Universal Studios Florida

Universal Mardi Gras festivities include sweet, savory, and spicy dishes inspired by Mardi Gras in New Orleans favorites and Carnaval celebrations from around the globe, a Mardi Gras parade featuring all-new floats inspired by elements, and live concerts on select nights, all included with regular theme park admission to Universal Studios Florida.

Universal Mardi Gras 2024 Concerts

This year’s event will feature ten live performances by top performers, including Grammy winner DJ Khaled on March 2, 2024, Grammy winner Queen Latifah on March 10, 2024, and five-time Latin Grammy winner Luis Fonsi on March 16, 2024.

The following performances will take place at the Music Plaza stage following the Mardi Gras parade:

New Mardi Gras Parade Theme

This year’s Mardi Gras parade will bring the elements to life through six new floats inspired by the earth, wind, fire, water, the sun, and the moon.

The new element floats will join Universal’s traditional lineup of New Orleans-inspired floats, high-energy music, dozens of costumed performers, and tons of Mardi Gras beads.

The International Flavors of Carnaval

Global Carnaval celebrations from New Orleans, Spain, China, and more will be the inspiration for more than 60 tasting-sized menu items, including a classic Fried Green Tomato Po’boy and fan-favorite Beignets from New Orleans, Chicken Schnitzel from Germany, Chilaquiles Verdes from Mexico, and many more.

The best way to experience the flavors of Universal Mardi Gras is with the specialty Universal Orlando Resort Food and Beverage Card, which allows guests to purchase a $75 card for $65. Annual and Seasonal Passholders can buy an exclusive $150 card for only $120.
