A new iteration of an opening-day Magic Kingdom attraction, Country Bear Musical Jamboree is now open to all guests.

Clap your hands, stomp your feet at Country Bear Musical Jamboree
Hibernation season is over. Country Bear Musical Jamboree opened to the public July 17, 2024 at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. The Audio-Animatronics spectacle stars the familiar bear characters in a completely new show, now featuring songs from Disney films: “Try Everything” from “Zootopia,” “Remember Me” from “Coco,” and more.

Disney released the new show’s soundtrack on digital music platforms today.
Country Bear Musical Jamboree performs continuously throughout the day in Frontierland. Country Bear Musical Jamboree is not open during Magic Kingdom’s Early Entry period for Disney resort guests. (Only Fantasyland and Tomorrowland attractions participate in Early Entry.)
Frontierland is quite busy these days, having just opened Tiana’s Bayou Adventure last month. Additionally, in a few weeks, Disney will reveal its plans to expand “beyond Big Thunder” during a special presentation at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.

Get your bearings with some history
Country Bear Jamboree opened with Magic Kingdom on Oct. 1, 1971. The classic version of the show performed for the last time on Jan. 26, 2024. Following over six months of touch-ups and reprogramming, plus a few days of previews for passholders and D23 members, Country Bear Musical Jamboree is officially open to all guests.
Upon its debut, Country Bear Jamboree was one of the few attractions to be exclusive to Florida, rather than a clone from California’s Disneyland, though it eventually duplicated elsewhere.

Today, Tokyo Disneyland retains the original Country Bear Jamboree (as well as the occasional swap over to a summertime version of the show). The attraction’s residency at Disneyland in California has long since ended; there, the show closed in 2001 to make way for The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. In Florida, that ride resides in Fantasyland (where it infamously displaced a different Magic Kingdom favorite, Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride).
