With take-out booming during social distancing, Crayola Experience is jumping on the bandwagon to make it safe and easy for families to bring home creative activities and art supplies.
The Crayola Experience Store at The Florida Mall in Orlando is now offering curbside pickup of exclusive creativity kits, as well as a variety of other Crayola arts and crafts products. All orders are packaged and delivered to cars by staff wearing masks and gloves.
The four pre-bundled Crayola Experience creativity kits—Creativity Explosion, Melt ‘n’ Mold Madness, Lil’ Artist Essentials, and Big Artist Essentials—are “the ultimate boredom busters” and include everything kids will need to express their creativity at home with Crayola products like sidewalk chalk, Scribble Scrubbies, and watercolor paints. Each bundle offers Crayola products at a discount and also includes free craft projects kids can make with the included items. Additional favorite Crayola products can also be ordered for curbside pickup while supplies are available.
Orders can be placed by calling Crayola Experience Monday-Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (orders placed before 1 p.m. will be available for same-day pickup). Pickup hours are between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on weekdays. Details and a “take-out menu” can be found here.
While the Orlando Crayola Experience attraction will remain closed until further notice, they understand that families need creative outlets more than ever. Therefore, to encourage and inspire kids (and kids at heart) to get crafty, the attraction has made free at-home activities available to everyone through its “At Home with Crayola Experience” online hub.
The hub also includes coloring pages, print-at-home crafts, and ideas for creative ways to use craft supplies and household items families may already have at home, like a how-to for making a Wild West vest out of a paper grocery bag, a list of seven fun games to make and play with sidewalk chalk, and instructions for making cute animals out of Model Magic modeling clay.
