D23 to host virtual launch party for ‘Holiday Magic at the Disney Parks’

D23 Gold Members are invited to the exclusive virtual launch party of “Holiday Magic at the Disney Parks” by Disney Editions.

Guests will join authors Becky Cline, Charlie Price and Graham Allan on a panel as they are taken on a tour around the world and through the history of Halloween at Disney Parks.

The new book contains almost 1,900 photographs, of which approximately two-thirds were taken specifically for this book. Inside, Disney fans will find special menu offerings, parade, stage productions and nighttime spectacles, decorative details and historical holiday events.

During the panel, guests will go beyond the pages of the book to view rarely seen clips and artwork and meet some of the artists that help bring the Halloween season to life each year.

The trio of authors logged over 180,000 miles during their visits to every Disney park and resort around the globe to document the holiday installations.

D23 Gold and Gold Family Members can reserve their tickets here. Guests will receive a unique access code via email for the virtual launch party and panel which premieres Oct. 20 at 4 p.m. PT and is available until Oct. 23 at 11:45 p.m. PT. D23 Gold and Gold Family Members are able to request one complimentary access code per membership to view the event.
