D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event announces ticket sale dates, a new class of Disney Legends, and more!
D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event returns to the Anaheim Convention Center and Honda Center this August 14-16, 2026. This morning on the Walt Disney Studios Lot in Burbank, California, ticket sale dates were announced along with a new class of Disney Legends to be inducted, and more we can expect from the biennial convention.
Ticket Sales Information
Here are some important dates and new rules to keep in mind when purchasing tickets.
- New for this year, you must be a D23 Gold Member (of any level) to purchase tickets. Gold Members are able to purchase tickets for non-member guests in their party.
- D23 Gold Charter Members (consistent members since the inaugural year in 2009) will be the first with ticket access. Beginning on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 10 a.m. Pacific Time / 1 p.m. Eastern Time, D23 Gold Charter Members will have a 24-hour window to purchase tickets to all event offerings.
- Then D23 Gold Members on Essential, Choice, and Complete plans (the paid plans) will have access beginning on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 10 a.m. Pacific Time / 1 p.m. Eastern Time.
- All other D23 Gold Members, including those with free membership through Disney+, will be able to join the queue at 12 p.m. Pacific Time / 3 p.m. Eastern Time that same day, Thursday April 2, 2026.
- An online virtual queue will be implemented once again for ticket sales. Theoretically, the virtual queue should be less intense than it was in 2024 as only Gold Members can now purchase tickets.
- Each Gold Member may purchase six tickets total.
Ticket Types
When crowds head to the Honda Center and therefore diminish at the Anaheim Convention Center, guests will now have access to an affordable Afternoon Only ticket giving access to the Anaheim Convention Center.
- D23 Fan Pass (Anaheim Convention Center only), available for $49 (Afternoon Only), $99 (1‑Day), or $297 (3‑Day)
- D23 Ultimate Fan Pass, which includes access to both the Anaheim Convention Center and the Honda Center showcases, with pricing beginning at $99 for a 1‑Day and $297 for a 3‑Day package
- The D23 Ultimate Preferred Fan Pass delivers three days of floor seating at the Honda Center, three days of Anaheim Convention Center access, and exclusive Random Selection Process opportunities for select limited-edition pins, with pricing ranging from $1,299 to $2,599 depending on location.
- Each ticket is subject to a $11.25 service fee, and each transaction is subject to a $16 delivery fee.
- If luck isn’t on your side, D23 Gold Members who aren’t able to purchase tickets can join a limited-time waitlist after ticket sales close.

- Friday, August 14, 2026 – Disney Entertainment Showcase, highlighting what Disney has coming in the world of movies, television, and all other kinds of media.
- Saturday, August 15, 2026 – Disney Experiences Showcase, highlighting what Disney has coming in the world of theme parks, cruise ships, and more.
- Sunday, August 16, 2026 – Disney Legends Awards, inducting the newest class of Disney Legends.

The Disney Legends presentation is scheduled to take place the afternoon of Sunday, August 16, 2026. This will theoretically allow guests attending the ceremony to also make it back to the Anaheim Convention Center for the conventions final hours.

Disney will be offering additional experiences for the week leading up to D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event around the city of Anaheim, California. - Saturday, August 8, 2026 – Walt Disney Archives’ newest exhibition at the Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center, “Capturing Life, Creating Character: The Art of Live Action”
- Tuesday, August 11, 2026 – D23 Night at the Anaheim Packing District with fan activities, music, trivia, and the sixth annual World Taste of the Packing District.
- Wednesday, August 12, 2026 – D23 Night at Angel Stadium where the Angels compete against the Texas Rangers. The first 23,000 attendees entering the stadium will receive a themed D23 Mickey Mouse Bobblehead, with 2,300 of these being a randomly selected exclusive gold variant.
- Thursday, August 13, 2026 – D23 Day at Disneyland
- Throughout the week, Downtown Disney will also feature special offers, discounts, and themed fun.
