Dark Harbor returning to The Queen Mary this Halloween season
This Halloween season, a beloved haunted attraction returns to The Queen Mary in Long Beach, California after a five-year/four season absence. The Spirits Rise once again at The Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor.

The Queen Mary was named one of the Top 10 Most Haunted Places in America by Time Magazine making it the perfect location for a haunted attraction on a grand scale. Many guests and employees have had ghost sightings aboard the ship and its rich history is full of dark stories.
The Dark Harbor Halloween event had a successful run from 2010-2019 until the COVID-19 pandemic and ship renovations caused a hiatus. SoCal residents wishes will now come true as beloved characters including The Ringmaster, Scary Mary and more return to Long Beach to add a bit of fun frights to the Halloween season.

“Dark Harbor has become an iconic part of our city’s Halloween celebrations, and we are excited to once again transform the Queen Mary into a haunted spectacle for scare-goers,” said Mayor Rex Richardson. “Having brought in hundreds of thousands of visitors to Long Beach in years past, its return is another major step in the Queen Mary’s recovery and return to a premier tourist attraction.”
