The minds behind The Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor are introducing their brand-new haunt on the East coast – Dark Horizon: Point of No Return, running from Oct. 10 – Nov. 2 in Orlando, Fla.
UPDATE – 09/06/19: Due to the effects of Hurricane Dorian, Dark Horizon has moved its opening date to Oct. 10. In addition, two extra dates have been added to this year’s schedule: Oct. 13 and Oct. 30.
Guests who have purchased tickets for any dates between Oct. 4-6 can use their purchased ticket on any operating date of their choice. The Dark Horizon team will be sending out an email with more information and details.
“Much like its predecessor on the West coast, Dark Horizon will deliver death-defying entertainment, blood-curdling haunted houses, immersive bars, and festive fare,” said Steve Sheldon, EPIC Entertainment Group managing partner and Dark Horizon co-producer.
To celebrate the opening of this new haunt, there is currently a limited-time deal on general admission tickets. Today, July 23 through Thursday, July 26 at 6 a.m. Eastern, guests can purchase general admission tickets to Dark Horizon for 50 percent off on select nights with promo code DARK50 to the inaugural event.
Dark Horizon’s Orlando debut will offer sixteen nights of terror with four immersive bars, three haunted house mazes, two live stages, hundreds of monsters, and plenty of festive fare.
“Dark Horizon’s haunted houses and main characters are based on Florida’s darker history and local lore, highlighting infamous tales of piracy, voodoo and murder,” said Charity Hill, EPIC Entertainment Group managing partner and co-producer of the haunt. “Dark Horizon will bring to life the stories of some of the more infamous figures in Florida’s history – Bloody Ed Watson, Mambo Cecile, and Captain Killigrew.”
More details on Orlando’s newest haunt will be revealed on Sunday, Aug. 4 at Midsummer Scream in Long Beach, Calif. during its own panel. To learn more, visit DarkHorizonOrlando.com.
