DC Heroes and Villains Fest is bigger and better in 2025 at Six Flags Magic Mountain | Report
DC Heroes and Villains Fest relaunched for summer 2025 at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Velencia, Calif. after the event’s inaugural year in 2024. This limited-time event features live shows, specialty foods, character meet & greets, and more as heroes clash with villains for control of Gotham City.
Each Friday and Saturday night (through July 26, 2025) beginning at 5 p.m., the DC Universe area in Six Flags Magic Mountain commences the special event offerings. The event begins with the “DC Heroes Bash Cavalcade” as it makes its way through a portion of the park, leading guests to the opening ceremony at the festival stage.
There, Batman is honored with a statue dedication before the villains crash the party. The Joker, Harley Quinn, Catwoman, and other devious characters are determined to seize control of Gotham City. Their goal is to turn everyday heroes, like yourself, into villains.
If you’re a fan of live entertainment, DC Heroes and Villains Fest has plenty to offer. There is a full schedule of shows from the event start time to park closing at 9 p.m. on Fridays and 10 p.m. on Saturdays. The entertainment is broken up into two categories: Heroic Happenings and Villainous Ventures.
Offerings include the previously mentioned cavalcade and opening ceremony in addition to Gotham City’s Super-Hero for a Day Contest, Super-Hero Smackdown!, The Joker’s Dance Party, Harley Quinn & The Hyenas, and Catwoman Purr-Petrators-A-Go-Go. The dance performances and shows are consistent throughout the night, with DJ sets in between featuring music from the 1980s.
When these heroic and villainous characters aren’t taking part in a performance, they can be found striking a pose with guests at photo ops set up throughout the land. In addition, atmospheric characters keep the party going as they wander and interact with guests all night long.
Along with entertainment, themed food is available at three booths throughout the land. You can buy food and drink items individually or choose six foods for $34.99 after purchasing a Tasting Pass. There’s also a $5 discount for passholders available, making it an even better value. Portions sizes are good, and the various offerings are tasty, making it a good value. There’s even enough that two people could easily share one Tasting Pass.

In addition to the special event offerings, guests can enjoy the year-round DC-themed rides in the park, including Batman The Ride, Wonder Woman Flight of Courage, The Riddler’s Revenge, Lex Luthor: Drop of Doom, Teen Titans Turbo Spin, and Justice League: Battle for Metropolis.
Overall, DC Heroes and Villains Fest made noticeable improvements between 2024 and 2025. The entertainment now has higher production value, the food is better quality, and there are plenty of character interaction opportunities for any DC Comics fan. DC Heroes and Villains Fest is running now through July 26, 2025, at Six Flags Magic Mountain. This special event is included with regular theme park admission on Friday and Saturday evenings.
